My name is Melissa Tuffey and I am honored to be part of the St. Mary German Village community! Catholic education has always been important to me and my family, so after staying at home with my own three kiddos for many years, I went back into the classroom at St. Mary School in Delaware 16 years ago where I taught 4th grade for 4 years and Kindergarten for the past 12 years. I have to admit that I absolutely LOVE to teach our littlest learners! Their excitement, wonder and curiosity (and energy!!) never ceases to amaze me– and I am super excited to start a new chapter of my career in the Pre-Kindergarten program here in German Village. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Mike) of 31 years, and my adult children (Francesca, Ragan and Madison, and Lucia). I also enjoy traveling, the beach, a good book, and finding a fun new restaurant!
