Patrick Vennemeyer, known to students and families as Mr. Vennemeyer, teaches Social Studies to students in grades 6–8 at Saint Mary School. This is his second year at Saint Mary and his second year as an educator.

Mr. Vennemeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Social Studies and loves getting students excited about the history we all share. He especially enjoys introducing students to important people, places, and events they may be learning about for the very first time. Whether exploring ancient Rome or the American Revolution, he is excited to bring these essential stories to life for his students.

Mr. Vennemeyer is drawn to Catholic education because of its mission to develop good people as well as strong students. He values being part of a community that places an emphasis on helping students grow academically while also developing their character and faith.

Outside of school, Mr. Vennemeyer enjoys fossil hunting, listening to podcasts, and exploring new restaurants with friends.

This year, he is especially looking forward to collaborating with his fellow educators to create engaging, meaningful, and fun learning experiences for Saint Mary students.
