Julia Galdo, known to students and families as Ms. Galdo, serves as Saint Mary’s school librarian and Spanish teacher for grades K–4. This is her fourth year as part of the Saint Mary community.

Ms. Galdo earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education for grades K–12 from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She feels blessed to spend her days surrounded by the things she loves and to have the opportunity to share those interests with Saint Mary students.

One of the things Ms. Galdo appreciates most about teaching in a Catholic school is how seamlessly the Catholic faith can be woven into every subject. She values the way those teachings help both students and adults navigate the challenges of the world around them.

Outside of school, Ms. Galdo loves reading, visiting the public library and local cafés, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with friends and family.

This year, she is especially excited to return to teaching fourth grade Spanish and looks forward to another year of sharing her love of books, language, and learning with Saint Mary students!
