Ana Galuzny, known to students and families as Miss Ana, teaches sixth grade religion and serves as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd catechist for students across multiple grade levels. This is her third year at Saint Mary and her first year as a full-time member of the staff. For the past two years, she worked part-time in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and as a fifth grade aide while completing her college degree.

Miss Ana is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science.

One of her favorite parts of Saint Mary is having the opportunity to work with students across so many different grade levels. She finds great joy in working with children, meeting them where they are, and watching them learn and grow.

Having attended Catholic schools throughout grade school and high school, Miss Ana has experienced firsthand the value of Catholic education. Her own relationship with the Lord has continued to deepen, and she feels called to share the Gospel with her students while helping them grow in their relationship with God and develop a love for their faith.

Outside of school, Miss Ana enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting coffee shops, playing guitar, being outdoors, and swimming.

Miss Ana is especially excited to join Saint Mary full-time this year and continue building relationships with the students and staff she has come to know and love while welcoming many new faces along the way!
