Abby Dodd, known to students and families as Miss Dodd, teaches Pre-K at Saint Mary School. This is her first year at Saint Mary and her first year as an educator!

Miss Dodd is a proud Kansas State University alumna, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. As she begins her teaching career, she is grateful to be part of a community where communication, collaboration, and lending a helping hand are such important parts of the school culture.

Having grown up receiving a Catholic education herself, Miss Dodd knew she wanted to continue being part of Catholic education as a teacher. She is excited to share that experience with her own students while helping them learn and grow.

Outside of school, Miss Dodd enjoys trying new restaurants, reading, thrifting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Miss Dodd is especially looking forward to meeting her students and fellow faculty members and becoming part of the Saint Mary community. She can’t wait for all of the new memories and adventures this school year will bring!
