Mrs. Kuisti is a third grade teacher aide at Saint Mary School and is beginning her fourth year as part of the Saint Mary community.

An alumna of Otterbein University, Mrs. Kuisti earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. At Saint Mary, she especially enjoys working alongside her fellow teachers and being greeted by the smiles and hugs of students each day. Some of her favorite moments are the “aha!” moments—when a student finally understands a difficult concept or experiences the pride of completing a big writing project.

Mrs. Kuisti appreciates being part of a Catholic school where she can talk openly about God and pray with students, especially during times when they need extra encouragement or support.

Outside of school, Mrs. Kuisti enjoys gardening, bike riding, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting with her 97-year-old mother.

While she may not be looking forward to her commute from Westerville on I-71 during rush hour, Mrs. Kuisti is looking forward to another year filled with students’ smiles, laughter, learning, and growth!
