Melanie Kercsmar, known to students and families as Ms. Melanie, serves as an Intervention Specialist at Saint Mary School. This is her fifth year at Saint Mary and her 13th year working in education.

Ms. Melanie holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a minor in Music. Her favorite part of her role at Saint Mary is seeing and interacting with students each day. She especially enjoys helping students learn while also finding ways to make them smile along the way.

Her Catholic faith is an important part of her work, and Ms. Melanie values being in a Catholic school where she has the opportunity to share her faith with others.

Outside of school, Ms. Melanie loves spending time with her family and taking Disney vacations.

Ms. Melanie is looking forward to another year of learning, growing, and plenty of smiles with Saint Mary students and is excited for a fantastic 2026–27 school year!
