Colleen Morisette, known to students and families as Miss Morisette, teaches fifth grade math, science, and religion at Saint Mary School. After completing her first year at Saint Mary, she is excited to begin her second year in the classroom!

Miss Morisette is a graduate of the University of Dayton, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite part of Saint Mary is simple: the students and staff who make up the school community.

Raised in the Roman Catholic faith, Miss Morisette feels called to serve Jesus through her work as an educator. She especially values the strong sense of community found in a Catholic school and the opportunity to build relationships with students rooted in faith, learning, and care for one another.

Outside of school, Miss Morisette enjoys taking long walks, spending time with friends and family, and starting new arts and crafts projects—even if finishing them is another story!

This year, she is looking forward to strengthening relationships with students she got to know last year, building deeper connections with fellow staff members, and creating even more engaging, hands-on learning experiences in her classroom. Most of all, Miss Morisette is excited to experience all the highs and lows of the school year alongside her students while building lasting relationships grounded in Catholic education.
