Emily Hayes, known to students and families as Mrs. Hayes, is a third grade teacher at Saint Mary School. This year marks her 10th year at Saint Mary and her 11th year as an educator. Mrs. Hayes holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio Dominican University.

As a Saint Mary alumna herself, Mrs. Hayes has a special connection to the school and its community. She loves the strong sense of community among Saint Mary families and staff and especially enjoys the opportunity to work alongside her coworkers and spend each day with her students. Outside of school, Mrs. Hayes enjoys reading, taking her children to the park and library, and spending time at the beach and pool with her family.

Mrs. Hayes is looking forward to another year at Saint Mary and is excited to work with and meet a whole new group of students this year!
