Hello! My name is Kathy Rumburg, and I am excited to join the St. Mary staff this year! This is my 15th year teaching in Catholic schools. I have taught a variety of grades from first through fifth in both Pittsburgh, PA, and Delaware, OH. This is my second year teaching third grade. I went to Penn State University for my undergraduate degree and received my master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts from Duquesne University. I have been married to my husband for 20 years. We have three boys (ages 13, 15, and 17) and two spunky Labrador retrievers. I love to read, take spin classes, and spend time with my family. I’m looking forward to a fresh start at St. Mary German Village and can’t wait to begin building relationships with the staff, students and families!
