Meet Morgan Zahnle, aka “Mrs. Z.” As our 5th Grade Math, Science, and Religion teacher, as well as the 4th-6th grade TAG teacher, Mrs. Z brings six years of experience to Saint Mary School. She loves working with students across all grade levels and finds immense joy in seeing them learn, grow, and share their experiences. Watching her former students continue to develop in middle school and truly discover who they are makes her proud, especially as they reach their full potential. When she’s not in the classroom, you’ll find Mrs. Z spending time with her husband and their two kids, Jude and Josie, enjoying walks, weekend family trips to Target, and watching sports. This year, she’s excited to continue teaching 5th grade while stepping into her new role as the 4th-6th grade TAG teacher—a challenge she’s eager to embrace as she continues growing as an educator. Fun fact: Mrs. Z is set to graduate from Ohio Dominican University this December with her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on teacher leadership.
