Morgan Zahnle

Assistant Principal

Meet Morgan Zahnle, aka “Mrs. Z.” Mrs. Zahnle joined Saint Mary School in 2019. Before stepping into administration, she spent seven years in the classroom and will continue teaching one math class for 6A.

Mrs. Zahnle holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership, which she plans to complete in the spring.

When she first came to Saint Mary, the school had approximately 200 students, but the strong sense of community and school pride immediately stood out to her. As Saint Mary has grown and welcomed a new building, she has been continually amazed by the community the school has built together. For Mrs. Zahnle, Saint Mary has truly become home for her family.

A lifelong product of Catholic education, Mrs. Zahnle attended Saint Matthias School (now Saint Josephine Bakhita) for grades 1–8 before attending St. Francis DeSales High School and Ohio Dominican University. Her Catholic education continues to shape the way she approaches her work at Saint Mary. She especially values the opportunity to talk about God with her students and lead them in prayer throughout all aspects of their lives.

Outside of school, Mrs. Zahnle enjoys spending time with her husband and their children, Jude and Josie, reading, cheering on Alabama football, and supporting the Columbus Blue Jackets.

As she looks ahead, Mrs. Zahnle is excited to continue growing academically and professionally, watching Saint Mary students grow and thrive, and welcoming new families into the Saint Mary community.
