Nikki Ford

Assistant Principal

My name is Nikki Ford, and I am very blessed to be welcomed into the St. Mary community as the Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. I am in my 3rd year of Diocesan school administration as an elementary/middle school Principal.  Prior to this role, I was an elementary teacher within the Columbus Diocese, St. Mary’s in Delaware, with experience at various grade levels over the years.

I received my B.A. from The Ohio State University and obtained a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.  I obtained a 2nd master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Ohio Dominican University and my Professional Elementary/Middle School Principal’s license as well.

Being part of catholic school education has been my vocation. I am extremely honored and humbled to embark on this professional and spiritual journey as we engage our students to experience a wonderful education, rooted in the Catholic faith that will foster student development and empower them to reach their full potential.

A little bit more about me: I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  I met my husband, Nate, at Ohio State University and we have been married for 20 years.  We have two children, Austin (18) attending Miami University, and Sophia (17) who attends Bishop Watterson High school.  We live in the Clintonville area.

Outside of school I love to spend time with my family, outdoor activities, Sunday Italian dinners and cooking with extended family, and traveling.

I am very excited to start the new school year and becoming part of the St. Mary German Village family.
